The MARGIA Floor was specifically designed and developed in Europe, by Vloeren BV some 50 years ago, because Food Processors were demanding long lasting, non-slip floors that could withstand the harsh conditions of their plants, at an economical price.
The Research stage included past experiences of many plant owners and their recommendations, suggestions and needs. The Development stage consisted of testing many different products and mixtures. It was determined that a GRANITE based product would serve as the best foundation to deliver an extremely hard wearing and a longer lasting floor surface.
The search for the GRANITE was rigorous and had to pass numerous quality tests. Once we found the right GRANITE, we incorporated strictly maintained cement standards and a specialized installation technique to achieve the long lasting, non-slip surface the owners and regulatory officials required. This unique, highly dense, GRANITE BASED CONCRETE was in fact the solution to their needs.
Thus, the MARGIA FLOOR was developed and has evolved into the "Product of Choice" when considering long term floor solutions.
